This product is a modified 700/900 front wheel hub that allows for alternate Bolt Circle Diameters (BCD).

These can be very useful for the mounting of wheels intended for other vehicles, especially for vehicles with rear axle swaps that may have different BCD in the rear than in the front.

The hubs will be sent with the ABS rings uninstalled,

The hole diameter that we are using is 12.7 mm which matches Late Model GM applications.

Compatible ARP wheel stud part numbers (the ones that we use and supply)

#100-7708   -  M12x1.5

#100-7731   -  1/2x20  

The max bolt pattern that the 700/900 hubs can accommodate is 5x114.3 mm (5x4.5"). We can redrill other patterns such as 5x112, 5x110, as well.

The machining service is $65 per pair of hubs and we can include ARP studs and install them into the hubs for an additional charge

HUB CHOICE (USED / NEW) BUYER BEWARE!!!

We are offering this service on new and used hubs.  The used hubs get a quick inspection but have not been road-tested.   We are selling these used hubs with no core charge and no warranty.   The 700/900 hubs do not have user-serviceable wheel hubs like a 240 does, so if your wheel bearings go bad, you would need to have another set of hubs drilled for 5x114.3.

Frequently Asked Question: 

Q: Do you need to redrill the rotors to use these hubs

A: For 700/900 rotors you will need to elongate the holes on the factory rotors to clear the alternate pattern.

Q: Can you drill hubs to 5x120?  

A: No, there is not enough material to safely drill a 5x120 hole pattern onto a Volvo 700/900 hub, the outside diameter is too small.  

 

Q: Can I reuse my stock wheel studs?   

A: No, not on the alternate pattern.  The reason for this change is we want to leave as much material intact as possible on the wheel hub.  The larger diameter patterns like 5 x 114.3 would make the wheel hub weak if a stock-sized stud was used in that position.   They would also necessitate more material removal from the rotors to clear the large shoulders on the stock studs.
