We had a customer ask us to install the weld-in plates that we offer with the 700/900 Series Adjustable Strut Mounts. These plates allow for quicker access and a wider range of adjustment compared to using the plates as bolt in under the stock strut tower. At the same time the customer wanted to keep his stock length Bilstiens Struts, which are very tall but wants the car to have a modified ride height with good ride quality to the handle the duties of living in New Jersey. Some plate risers were fabricated from mild steel sheet to give the car more compression travel.

The customer wanted to retain the ability to have a strut tower brace and with raising the tower mounts his existing brace would no longer work. We fabricated this one off brace with design emphasis on providing maximum stiffness and ease of serviceability for the rest of the car.
